University and Industry: a dialogue that creates value

April 15th, 2026 – Westrafo recently hosted at its headquarters in Montebello Vicentino four students from the Management Engineering program at the University of Padua, Vicenza campus, as part of an academic activity related to their studies.

During the meeting, our team — comprising the Head of Administration, Finance and Control, the Operations Manager, the Group Controller, and the HR Manager Italy — introduced our Group, providing an overview of the Company, its main areas of activity, and its products. A specific focus was dedicated to Performance Measurement systems, in line with the students’ project, fostering an engaging exchange between theory and practice.

The visit concluded with a tour of the production area, giving participants the opportunity to observe our processes and technologies up close.

The initiative represented a meaningful moment of exchange between industry and academia. The four students, coming from different geographical areas, including Eastern Europe and the Middle East, helped make the discussion particularly rich in perspectives.

In an international context and within a complex geopolitical landscape such as the current one, it is not always a given that such diverse backgrounds and experiences can come together in a constructive way. For this reason, moments like these take on even greater value: they demonstrate how direct dialogue, based on listening and respect, can turn differences into concrete opportunities.
