For over 20 years, Westrafo engineers have been designing transformers & energy solutions for renewable energy plants such as wind and photovoltaic plants, where the production output is controlled by inverters, and also in hydroelectric, biogas or biomass plants, where the output of the plant is generally controlled by a motor.

Our transformers for renewable energy can be designed with secondary voltages starting from a few volts up to 900 V with power up to 10 MVA and are highly customizable according to the type of inverter used, the rated power and the voltage required, as well as the type of operating environment, all in compliance with high energy efficiency and reduced losses.
Our transfomers can be paired to our energy integrations such as solar substations, MVPS inverter substations and off-grid solutions configured both for string and central inverters.
